Iiitala's Ruutu vases were designed by the French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Each Ruutu vase is unique: they are mouth-blown into a steel mold and then polished by hand. The difficult shape of the vase requires 24 hours of production and seven skillful professionals. The Ruutu vases come in several shades to choose from, and you can also combine vases in different sizes and shapes to create a unique configuration on the windowsill or side table or for a contemporary centerpiece.  The vase's lovely and fresh salmon pink shade was picked from Iittala's extensive glass color archive, and the pigment is created with Iittala's very own glass recipe.
