Quiet, please. Muuto's elegantly minimal Silent Vase announces itself with barely a whisper. From his eponymous studio in Oslo, Andreas Engesvik observes that "Silent is about reducing a vase to it's most simple expression. It is the shape of the vase that is in focus." Made of mouth-blown glass and hand finished, the result is serene and timeless. Andreas has received several international awards and wide recognition for his work with furniture, lighting and home accessories while Danish maker Muuto continues to enlarge the vocabulary of new Nordic design.
