A single-piece vase of unusual presence. The Solana in gray is 50 cm tall and weighs 8 kg, a vertical column of hand-blown crystal in a tonality that shifts between warm greige and cool blue-grey depending on the ambient light. The gray crystal is quiet against any palette: against white walls it recedes; against darker surfaces it fully asserts itself. A wide opening accepts architectural stems or dried compositions. Made in a Florentine glasshouse from original cast-iron moulds active since 1945.
