Created by illustrator and decorator Clara Holt in collaboration with Chiara Zoppei, a ceramist from Milan, this captivating vase exudes a bold flair that will add a marvelous accent to a modern decor. Handmade of earthenware on a lathe, it is decorated using the sgraffito technique whereby a top layer of lacquer is scratched off until the underlying clay reveals motifs that emerge from the negative space. The array of jazz musicians, melodies, and notes attest to the artistry of the piece.
