The Teulada Curve's defining quality is its asymmetric, flowing profile, the crystal body curves and flows rather than standing upright, giving the piece the quality of arrested motion. In pale pink, the hand-blown crystal amplifies the flowing line of the form: soft, organic, and quietly present. Works as a sculptural object without flowers; a single stem bent to follow the arc of the crystal creates a complete still-life. Made in a Tuscan glasshouse active since 1945. Each piece is individually hand-finished, the small variations in form and surface are the direct result of mouth-blowing.
