The Drago Vase takes inspiration from the drug pots produced in Castelli belonging to the Orsini-Colonna collection. These vessels would have been used by an apothecary to store herbal syrups. This six-dragon-head ceramic is a reinterpretation of the original pot which was especially designed for the wedding trousseau. The vase is handthrown and the heads are molded by hand and the original decor has been whited out and blacked out.
