Trascorso Vase, Tall

An exploration of the solidity and fragility of life, Trascorso is a series of imaginative and sculptural vases. Gumdesign created the collection with weighty marble or onyx bases and ceramic forms that bring antique vessels to mind. Carved marble sections correspond to the curvature of the vases, resulting in a perfect fit between the two elements. An homage to Italian craftsmanship, the collection is made by killed artisans who use both traditional and cutting-edge techniques to craft each product. While the bases are made from white Carrara marble or white onyx, the vases are made from terracotta with a warm or a dark color.
