Vintage 1960s Japanese Earthenware Vases In The Shape Of Bamboo

Vase for flowers or for decoration in the shape of a bamboo segment with roots at the base and a branch with leaves, on which a cicada sits. Handmade using a slab of clay molding it into shape and applying the details. One has a drilled hole in bottom and One does not, both holes are original to the pieces. They are very heavy due to the quality and thickness of the clay.
