Windows Cubism Collection Turquoise Vase By Tsuchida Yasuhiko

Tsuchida Yasuhiko designed a collection inspired by Manhattan's skyscrapers windows after he visited New York in 1999 during the Christmas season. In this hand-blown Murano glass vase he encapsulated his vivid memory. The one-of-a-kind piece was realized in 2001 combining techniques like blown glass, "tessere" (mosaic), and "battuto" (engraved). The amber color is enriched by brilliant turquoise tesserae.
