Artemest
Bold and elegant, this vase as designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1984. It comprises three separate pieces of mouth-blown glass: two flared, funnel-shaped pieces in red and blue flanking a central black sphere. This piece is crafted using the opaline technique, in which milky-white glass ("lattimo") is superimposed with layers of transparent glass. This piece is currently on show and immediately available at Artemest Galleria New York.
