18th century engraving portrait of the Dutch painter Cornelius Ketel (1548-1616). Engraved by Thomas Chambers (c. 1742-1789) from the publication by Horace Walpole "Anecdotes of painting in England : with some account of the principal artists, and incidental notes on other arts : collected by the late Mr. George Vertue, and now digested and published from his original Manuscript." This is probably from the 1798 publication, but could be from 1765 edition. Sheet size averages 11 x 8.5 inches. More are available in my store for framed groups
