This is a set of 2 matted antique French chromolithographs that date to c1880s. They are from a collector's album of botanicals, Le Ecole du Jardinier Amateur par de la Brugere, published in Paris. They feature large white flowers, the Pancratium Maitimum or sea daffodil and the Ornithogalum Umbellatum known as the Garden Star-of-Bethlehem, a white grass lily. They are done in soft neutral color tones and have a wonderful quality. They work well in a traditional home or in any eclectic home or office setting, and would be great for a country house!
