Original set of 4 antique botanical prints from a late 1800s folio featuring the Flora of the Alps. The plants shown on the lithographs include those found in Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria. Latin name for each of the plants is shown on the prints. The prints include: Top Row (L to R): Alpine Squill, Spring Snowflake Bottom Row (L to R): Jonquil, Snow Rose (Rhododenron) These are original antique Botanical prints from the 1890s - not reproductions. Each print measures 5 x 7.5 inches. The lithographs are in excellent condition with no imperfections. They are carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert. Included with each print is a certificate with additional information about the series.
