We are selling this very large Italian Old Master painting of Saint Peter. We believe it may be circle of or a follower of Jusepe De Ribera. A similar painting is found when google imaging this piece that was retailed by well renowned London Dealers Robilant+Voena and attributed to Jusepe De Ribera. This painting may be later in date, 18th century, and is most likely a copy. Came from a collection of Old Master paintings that came from an Italian collection. Condition: Has been re-lined at some point. Very dark surface varnish.
