John Winkler (1890-1979). "Sing Fong" Chinese etching on paper. Pencil signed. Winkler studied at the California Institute of Arts and created his first etching in 1915. During the following years, he established a large national reputation for his etchings, the great majority being depictions of San Francisco and its environs.
