This is a lovely piece of framed artwork by Artist, Andre Lambert, (1884-1967) of a woman having her hair done in the morning. Andre Louis Lambert was a Swiss Impressionist & Modern artist who was born in 1859. Andre Lambert began studying architecture and later enrolled in Fine Arts, studies that ended around 1908. He worked in Germany as a painter and illustrator for publishers and magazines. And in 1908 he moved to Paris, where job opportunities came as an illustrator of books. Artwork is in beautiful condition surrounded by a raw silk matting (some age) in an antique gold frame.
