This is a rare print by Constantin Guys (1802 - 1892) from the collection, "Légendes Parisiennes" published by Ganymède, Publications d'Art, Georges Crès (Société Marées à Dresde et Munich), Paris, 1920. There were editions of 100 in French, 100 in English, and 100 in German. An embossed seal identifing the publisher appears on the bottom left corner. The print is encased by a back sheet and mat which has the numeral 10 embossed on it, indicating it is the 10th print in the original set of 15. It is attached with tape to the backing on the top and bottom corners on the left side. The print itself measures 10.5"W x 15.25"H. With the back and mat it is 17.5"W x 23.75"H. The print is in excellent antique condition with a small bend the the upper right corner and small tear on the bottom left corner. These are covered by the mat. There is some foxing around the edges of the mat and backing.
