Early 20th century framed oil painting of Long Peak in Estes Park, Colorado. From May B. Hoelscher (1884-1936), a graduate of the Chicago Art institute and a member of the American Federation of Artists, and the Rocky Mountain Art club. A student of student of Birger Sandzen and Hans Hoffman, this painting depicts rugged terrain, beyond which a mountain peak can be seen. Surrounded by a complimentary gold gilt frame with Art Deco flourishes.
