Beautiful antique landscape oil painting by known French artist Emile Rene Menard. He studied under Bourgereau and his work has been exhibited in the Musee D’Orsay and The Prado, among many others. The painting is in good condition, but please look at the photos as they are part of the condition report. Some painting loss around the outer edges of the painting where it has been loose in the frame. This will be covered once reframed. The frame is clearly original and is missing plaster here and there and needs restoration. The painting is signed in the lower left corner ER Menard.
