Artist Biography: Although unknown to the general public, Émile Alain Séguy is today considered one of the major and influential artists of the Art Deco period.Émile-Alain Seguy was born in France in 1877 and studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. Seguy who was active in Paris from 1900 to 1925. His mastery of decorative design and coloration is evident in the beautiful pochoir portfolios he created.
