Henri Ottevaere was a Belgian painter, best known for his landscapes, cityscapes, and river scenes in the Meuse and Ardennes regions. He was born in Ghent and trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts there. Ottevaere worked in an Impressionist style, favoring soft tones and a poetic approach to the landscape.
