1932 Rare French Art Deco Hispano-Suiza Automobile Print By A Kow

Chairish

$195

RARE FIND! We recently purchased this French Art Deco automobile advertisement by Alexis Kow for the luxurious Hispano-Suiza. With the passage of time, this image has become difficult to find. It dates to 1932 and is one of the MOST celebrated and coveted of the artist's creations. First manufactured in Spain, Hispano-Suiza had a storied history. By 1911 France was becoming the largest market for luxury cars and Hispano-Suiza began production outside of Paris. The brand became known as makers of superior engines for all modes of transport. Its symbol, the flying stork, was the emblem of strength, speed, endurance, and luxury throughout Europe. Today, the Hispano Stork medallion itself has become a collectible Art Deco object. Kow drew with perfect perspective and a strong eye for dramatic composition. His style is recognizeable and unique. This print is perfect for the Art Deco connoisseur. It would work in a man cave or home office and is a great gift idea for the vintage car collector. 10.25 x 13 inches in size. Signed.in lower right. A+ condition. Comes affixed to black acid free paper, ready for matting/framing.
