This custom framed lithograph of the Electra Tulip is plate 6 from a book of botanical watercolors by the French artist Arlette Davids Bokanowski (1902-1943). Les Fleurs: Tulipes, Jacinthes, Narcisses... was originally published in French in 1940 and appeared in several English editions between 1940 and 1948. The gold frame has a carved, floral design, 1 1/4"w x 1" deep. Image aperture 13 1/4"h x 9 3/4"w. Frame 21 1/2"h x 18"w. Probably conservation glass, but not certain. Acid-free mat and backing.
