Edward G. Robinson (yes, the movie star) was an avid collector and an amateur painter. (In 1938 he bought four self-portraits from Frida Kahlo - her first major sale.). This is painting of fellow actor Robert Keith. It is unsigned but with COA from the dealer from whom I acquired it as shown. Judging by Kieth's hairline it looks to have been done in the late 1940s. The canvas measures 24" x 30" and the frame is 33" x 39". Very good condition. The frame is chipped and shows significant wear, but the painting itself is in excellent shape. Please see photographs for detail.
