Gerald Leslie Brockhurst RA (1890 - 1978) "Standing Nude" sometimes called "Diana," lithograph on paper. Unsigned, signed and dated in plate. Brockhurst was a well known portrait painter and etcher whose subjects included Merle Oberon and Marlene Dietrich, as well as the Duchess of Windsor, whose husband commissioned her portrait. He was a Royal Academician (UK), a member of the Society of Graphic Art and National Academy of Design (US) associate member. This particular print can be found in the collections of museums and institutions all over the world including the Detroit Institute of Art, Oakland University Art Gallery and National Galleries of Scotland among others.
