A 1950 black and white lithograph print published by Associated American Artists by American artist Marion Greenwood (1909-1970). Titled Eastern Memory, this work depicts a woman wearing a headscarf and looking off the the side while holding a bamboo pole over her shoulders. Signed in pencil to the lower right, this print is displayed in a black frame and a cream mat. Marion Greenwood was a painter, muralist and lithographer from New York City. She was inspired by the artist Diego Rivera to create mural paintings in the 1930s. Greenwood was a child prodigy and left high school early to study at Art Students League in New York and the Academie Calarossi in Paris.
