This is a hand-colored sketch by the well known Romanian-born portrait and landscape artist, Dimitry Berea. By the time that Berea prepared this sketch in 1955, he was already a highly regarded artist and circulated regularly in elite social circles — as evidenced by this sketch of the head of the Bulova watch company (Arde Bulova) and Prof. Nimbus de Zaharia.
