Soft black ink on off-white paper. Numbered 19/25 and dated Nov 23, 1954. By Richmond, VA architect and artist, R. P. Ballou. Image area measures 6"W x 6.75"H, not including the artist's handwritten inscriptions below the plate. We love the crosshatch marks on the sides of the vases depicting the play of shadows in a modern way, as well as the linear treatment used to define the front edge of the table. Piece is in excellent condition.
