Beautiful composition for this decorative painting in pastel shades framed 25x22 inches Unframed 18x 15 Francesc Domingo i Segura, born in Barcelona on March 6, 1893 and died in São Paulo, Brazil on June 25, 1974, is a Catalan painter and engraver. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. One of the founding members of the Courbet Group, he lived in Paris where, sharing a studio with Josep Llorens Artigas, he met Pablo Picasso[1], then in Brittany and exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants from 1927 to 1929[2] and returned to Barcelona in 1931 where it was strongly linked to the cultural activity of the city during the Civil War. In 1951, he moved to Buenos Aires then to São Paulo, a city where he taught engraving at the school of fine arts, opened an art gallery and founded the Bisonte Group. He exhibits in Europe, South America and the United States[3]. His painting Els Jugadors is exhibited at the National Art Museum of Catalonia
