Vintage 1950's pair of signed and numbered John Cheng original artwork prints. John Cheng is known for his intricate and whimsical watercolor and ink artworks on silk. He was recently features at the Taiwan Museum of Fine Art in the "Taiwanese Art Treasures Preserved Overseas: The Homecoming Exhibition of the Sun Ten Collection" exhibition. This pair features two limited edition runs of his stunning prints. One is number 175 from a limited 500 run and features a graceful, traditionally dressed woman standing in a lush courtyard and looking at the sleeve of her garment. The second is numbered 290 from a limited run of 500 and features a beautiful traditionally dressed female sitting in a whimsical landscape and playing an instrument. Both art signed and numbered by Cheng in pencil and also stamped in ink. They are displayed in beautiful gold tone metal frames with professional matting and glass fronts.
