1960s Framed Original Oil Painting A Still Life With Daffodils And Pears By Marjorie Dean Andruk

Chairish

$850

This lovely original painting by artist Marjorie Dean Andruk features an impressionistic still life painted on a background that is primarily blue and gray. In the foreground is a vase with daffodils, another vessel with forsythia and on the table below it several green apples. The serene color palette utilizes soft yellows, greens and blues on a gray background. The canvas sits within a light grayish blue wood frame (that has a slightly distressed appearance). There is some separation at the corners of the frame (see close ups). Marjorie Dean Andruk was born in 1922 and died in 2010. She received her MFA from University of South Carolina and also studied at the Eastman School of Photography in Indiana. She helped coordinate the World Art Workshop and was the VP of Florida's Artist Group. Her works were featured in galleries and exhibitions through the east and the southern states. She also exhibited in Mexico, Hong Kong and Venezuela. If item is being shipped it will require a specialized art shipping box which costs $250.
