Federico Delgado Montiel (Spain 1929-2016) Geometric abstract oil on canvas. Signed and dated '63 upper left. Painted tape wrap around edges is lifting in areas, no consequence to the integrity of the canvas. Unframed. Montiel attended the School of Arts and Crafts in Sevilla, Spain in 1945. He went on to receive a scholarship known as ''Painters Paular'' to attend the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. Later in his career, Montiel and 5 other artists then began a new artistic movement known as ''The Italico Group'' which included artists such as Ricardo Milla and Armando del Rio Llabona.
