Country Girl ("Piccolo Contadina"). Portrait Italian Girl with Fruit 1964 Listed Artist G. Carpanini b. 1914. His paintings have sold very well at auction. The artist uses Italian Renaissance Portraiture style of subject seated before an open window with a landscape in the distance. Signed lower right, with an inscription on the reverse. There is also an old label with a title and part of the artist's name. The painting is in fine shape, the frame has some nicks of the gilding which can easily be touched up. 32 x 24 in. framed.
