Over the past five years I have handled quite a few of edward goldman's original work. A prolific new england artist and printmaker his styles varied from abstract and modernist, to straight impressionism. I have always liked his modernist work most. This is one of those and one of the finest I have come across. Titled in pen on the back of the stretcher, it says that it is a harbor in maine. I dont know where but I actually think it looks more like star island of new hampshire in the isle of shoals. Oil on canvas board measuring 20 x 24 inches. Signed and dated lower left corner. Painting is in excellent condition. Clean and fresh. White painted wood frame is complimentary and ready to hang. Frame measures 33 3/4 x 29 1/2. If you have interest in other goldman works, check my other listings to see what I have.
