This is a vintage original print by Romanian-born artist Dimitrie Berea entitled “Jeune Fille à la Fenêtre” (Young Girl by the Window) dating from 1964. Influenced by Matisse and other impressionists, Berea presents a bright colorful painting of a young woman looking out a window at the beautiful French landscape near Cannes. The print is loosely attached to a contemporary presentation page which includes a French language description of Berea’s artistic philosophy and achievements by the well known contemporary art critic and historian Maximilien Gauthier.
