A Willem De Kooning (1904-1997) exhibition poster for "Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies, Summer 1965" featuring a work by De Kooning as the central image with his signature included in it. Marker "Lithographed by Total Color, New York" along the lower eight, hardly visible. De Kooning painted in a style that came to be referred to as Abstract Expressionism or "action painting", and was part of a group of artists that came to be known as the New York School, this group included Jackson Pollock, Elaine de Kooning (his wife) and many others.
