-Original Alan Goldstein 1970 Abstract Painting 90x72" Oil / Canvas, Massive Large-Scale Huge Expressionist Art, Mid-Century Modern -Bold and expressive, large-scale abstract expressionist painting by renowned contemporary modern artist ALAN GOLDSTEIN (b. 1938; American / Pennsylvania). Oil paint on canvas, mounted in a simple, thin wood frame. Titled "Metamorphosis"; signed, titled, and dated 1970 verso. -Approximate dimensions: 90" high, 72" wide, 2" deep. -Painting is in overall good vintage condition with light wear, surface dirt, and blemishes. One small area of paint loss in the lower left region (see photo #8). The frame shows moderate wear including some splits near the corners where the strips are nailed. Cleaning or restoration has not been attempted. -Colors: white, brown, blue, red, maroon, burgundy, umber, ochre, beige.
