An original color lithograph on Guarro paper by the celebrated Spanish modernist Joan Miró, (Spanish, 1893–1983) titled “Great Britain.” This work is part of the Escultor suite and is documented in Mourlot 940. This is the first state edition, printed by Polígrafa, Spain, in 1974, and is considered a scarce and desirable example of Miró’s playful yet masterful graphic work. The composition reflects Miró’s signature visual language, vibrant color, organic abstraction, and lyrical movement, imbued with a sense of imaginative vitality. Image size measures 15 1/4 inches horizontally and 7 1/2 inches vertically. Purchased from a fine Tampa Bay area estate.
