Titled the Four Beasts paintings collection and includes: Rabbits in a Bamboo garden; Squirrels in a gnarled pine; Cats indulged with a Dragonfly; and Monkeys in an oak tree. Liu Kuiling (1885–1967) was a Chinese painter known for his detailed depictions of animals, flowers, and plants.
