This is a very fine pastel by noted artist Dan Partouche. He is well known for his wonderful impressionistic style of beautiful and colorful flowers. This piece was probably painted in the 1970-1980 period. The pastel measures 24" x 31" without the frame and is mounted under glass. With the frame it measures 37" x 45". I believe this is the original frame for this piece, possibly coming from the artist studio this way. Pieces like this are sold through the artist site for between $5000.00 and $8000.00.
