This piece measures 15 x 22" in its entirety while the photographic print alone measures 7 7/8 x 8 7/8". Not only was this photograph obtained from the Chuey Estate of the Neutra House fame but it also depicts Robert (Bob) Chuey a skilled mid-century painter in a rare portrait later in his life. A year is not provided for this piece but it can be assumed that it was taken in the late 60's or early 70's as Bob passed in 1977. This portrait was commissioned to Edmund Teske a pupil of Frank Lloyd Wright where he got a start. Then photographed and hand crafted throughout the print process including the paper selection and mounting which is signed by Teske in the bottom left corner. This image is believed to be singular in nature and ownership of it provides not just a work of art but a piece of unique quintessential history between two lesser known artists of great skill from the American mid century modern era.
