His style from that period was a kind of mixture of semi-abstract and surreal - typical for the post-war period. Akira Kurosaki exhibited widely in and outside Japan. His participations in the print biennales in Maastricht, Tokyo, Krakow, Lubljana, Paris and Norway made him known to an international audience.
