1972 After Rene Magritte "The Gradation Of Fire", First Edition Lithograph

An excellent First Edition offset lithograph after surrealist painting "The Gradation of Fire" (1939) by famous Belgian artist Rene Magritte (1898-1967). Comes from a rare First Limited Edition art folio of the artist printed in Japan in 1972. Signed in the print, at the top right corner: "Magritte". Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper, which has a copy on back related to another piece in the folio. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
