This hand-pulled woodcut, titled "Life Dance," is a signed Artist's Proof (A/P) by Theodore L. Reller Jr., dated 1976. The composition features five stylized, totemic figures rendered in a rhythmic, hand-holding arrangement, executed in a bold horizontal panoramic format with striking "X-ray" style interior detailing characteristic of mid-century relief printmaking. As an Artist's Proof, this print was pulled outside the formal numbered edition and was part of the artist's personal working proofs. Curated from the private collection of enamel artist Eve Paige Spencer, whose work is held in the permanent collection of the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery at Scripps College, California, and her husband, writer and art collector Donner Spencer.
