Brilliant and vibrant poster for Joy Division's concert at the Factory in Hulme, Manchester, held on Friday September 28th 1979.The band played a set that included classics such as "Disorder" and "She's Lost Control" at the show in support of their recently released album "Unknown Pleasures". The famous Manchester Factory venue on Royce Road, also known as the Russell Club and more during its years went on to form the name of the iconic Factory Records which the band was signed to. The show was several months before the tragic death of leader singer Ian Curtis and the posthumous release of their second and final album "Closer". This extremely rare poster is a fantastic piece of music history and marks one of the only known concert promotion posters for the legendary band. Produced in 1979 ahead of the concert, the piece has maintained its striking blue colour.
