Provenance This collection of prints is owned by a private party who acquired the collection directly from the artist. The collection of prints are 1980's production originally designed for retail distribution in galleries in Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles. Originally called the 'Private Property' collection, very few of the prints sold due to the lack of popularity of photography at the time. As a result, the majority of the collection remained in storage for years. Following a series of exhibitions at renowned galleries in London, New York, Paris, and Los Angeles, the remaining prints were acquired from Newton directly and documented in a signed legal agreement between the parties in 1986. This agreement was further ratified following Newton's passing in 2012 by the Helmut Newton Estate, signed by June Newton, and recorded and filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles. Print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by legal representatives detailing ownership, right to sell, and authenticity.
