A 1980s acrylic on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled "Edge of Forest," this abstract work depicts a landscape with forest surrounding the edge of a meadow. Unframed, the painting is signed to the lower right and titled to the lower left. Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
