Bio: Michael Hossner was born in Ogden, UT in 1954. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Utah and later studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts. He was influenced and shaped by his lover, the artist James Huber (1950-1988). Hossner spent his career as an artist in San Francisco, CA in the early days of the tragic AIDS epidemic, which inspired much of his work. He passed away in 1990 due to complications from AIDS.
