This is one of several original fashion drawings that we purchased recently in Paris. It is estimated to be c1980s. It is done with black ink and colored gouache on a vellum parchment paper. It showcases a long evening gown shown in profile. Note the detailing in the bodice design and the sleeve cuffs. Note too the delicate pink color sprays in the dress panels, the cuffs and wide hat rim. The model is making her grand entrance in this elegant design. Original fashion drawings are difficult to find and are highly collectible. This is a true beauty!
