An excellent reproduction of Tōshūsai Sharaku woodblock print depicting The Manager of The Miyako-Za (one of Kabuki Theaters) Reading an Announcement. One of the original woodblocks by the great Japanese artist of the Edo period is located at Tokyo National Museum. Published in Japan in 1980s. Heavy paper, copy in Japanese and English on the back. Superb quality. Comes from 50 years old collection of Asian Art in Japan. Excellent condition, never framed, like new, but feels almost like original woodblock print. Japan, 1980s.
